Sengkaling Recreation Park is located at Jalan Raya Mulyoagung number 188, Dau Subdistrict, Malang Regency, or it’s about 10 kilometers from Malang City. Sengkaling Recreation Park has a very strategic place because it’s near the highway. This highway connects Malang City and Batu City, therefore we can reach this awesome recreaction park by our private transportation or public transportations, such as bus, taxi, and another public transportation. There’s no difficult way to reach Sengkaling Recreation Park. Sengkaling Recreation Park is a family amusement park, as its catchword or slogan, “Family Dream Waterpark”, and it overs so many kinds of games to spoil the visitors, such as upland and water game spot, multi purpose building, and swimming pool. The whole width of Sengkaling Recreation Park are about 9 hectars and 6 hectars includes park and trees that can give us a cool atmosphere.

At the first time, Sengkaling Recreation Park established by a Dutchman named Mr. Coolman in 1950 and it’s managed by Mochtar, a man from Padang, West Sumatera. When Sengkaling Recreation Park was managed by Mochtar, this family recreation park is always closed on Friday. Since 1975 until now, the management of Sengkaling Recreation Park is taken by PT. Bentoel Group and managed by PT. Taman Bentoel. PT. Taman Bentoel is PT. Bentoel Group division which handle the tourism sector, such as recreation park. In the previous time, this recreation park is only for PT. Bentoel official employees. But now, Sengkaling Recreation Park isn’t for PT. Bentoel official employees only but for whole people around the world.

Sengkaling Recreation Park has so many great facilities. Those facilites have special quality for each facility overed by Sengkaling Recreation Park that another recreation park doesn’t have, such as the waterpark comes from nature mountain range water. Purportedly, one of the nature water in Sengkaling Recreation Park has special gift for people who come there, and it’s called Kolam Tirta Alam. Kolam Tirta Alam can make people who come there become like young people for a long time and people still believe in that myth until now. 

It’s really good to take our family there even our little family members, such as our little sisters or brothers. We can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Malang and play many kinds of games overed by Sengkaling Recreation Park. There, we also can find a place where we can try so many kinds of foods. It called “Sengkaling Food Festival”. There are so many food stalls overed various foods style from another city even another country. So, let’s visit Sengkaling Recreation Park for spending your spare time or your holiday time with your beloved family.
